You would think as a people that knowing this information would make us a bit smarter in our ventures. Alas no we continue to invent more and more ways to cripple the workforce by developing technology and decreasing the need for human interaction, as of writing the UK are testing driverless HGV's (trucks) threatening massive job losses in the transport industry increasing unemployment in the UK and indeed around the world. It all makes very little sense doesn't it? What is clear is the population issue, it is beyond argument. I have always believed that the anti-abortionists have been wrong in their fight A recent news report highlights the lengths that some will go to to further 'their' cause by protesting outside abortion clinics. and displaying the most vile images of fetuses for the unfortunate women having to visit the surgery http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/30126873 These campaigners (who may have aborted in the past) have no right to bully women during the most distressing moment of their lives even if they have personal demons because they have regretted their own decisions in the past. These fools need to look at the bigger picture, the very very very last thing this planet needs right now is more humans...especially unwanted humans.
A long time ago this planet had such a good thing going on, for millions of years the planet had perfect balance and harmony in the universe. Then came the Dinosaur period with these giant amazing creatures stomping around... then it turned a bit chilly. A man with a beard called Jesus lived around 2016 years ago and at that time there were around 50 million humans on the planet. If we jump ahead just a short 2016 years we humans are still here....all 7 BILLION of us. There has never been so many people on this planet before, we are as a species committed to curing every single disease known to man and intent on making us live as long as we possibly can. The problem with that of course is one of simple mathematics, with an ever growing population having more children than ever, and at the same time striving to cheat death! equals an over populated planet. In our history some countries have even limited the amount of children a couple may have by law because of over population.
